Lisa Decker, Senior LVT
Lisa received a BS in Biology in 1980 from Virginia Tech. After spending time at the Vet School in Blacksburg with a friend who worked there, she decided to go back to school to get her Veterinary Technology Degree. She graduated from No VA Community College in May of 1986 and then passed her Veterinary Technology Boards. Lisa has been with VSRP since January of 1986, first doing her internship and then coming on full time in June 1986 after graduation. When Lisa first started with VSRP there was one other LVT and Dr. Bradley. The practice has certainly grown over the years!
When Lisa is not at work, she can be found competing in agility most weekends with her two Jack Russell Terriers, Monty and Bindi. Both JRTs are very accomplished competitors and have over 100 agility titles between them. Lisa is married and she and her husband Scooter also have a 15 year old Shepherd mix, Josie (Lisa’s first agility dog) and a cat named Zoey.
